The Eclipses series is meant to be carried out in different locations, emphasizing its attachment to each site without resorting to physical or historical landmarks, but rather adopting it as a point from which to observe the heavens. The perceived transit of the moon in front of the disc of the sun over the course of the next thousand years – a phenomenon visible very sporadically only at certain latitudes, and for a very short amount of time – is the pretext for a commemoration of the future, featuring hundreds of people who represent the eclipses by means of an animated card stunt. The first installment of this series took place at the football stadium of the University of Texas, where the eclipses of 2024, 2200, 2205 and 2343 were represented.
